Aflac grants gift to Infantry Museum

IN A NOD to the men and women who serve and have served the United States in the Army infantry, the Aflac Foundation gave a gift of $1 million toward the development of a National Infantry Museum and Heritage Park. To be constructed at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga., the museum will include a Soldier Memorial Garden (which Aflac will have naming rights to), a parade field, a Memorial Walk of Honor and soil from the resting places of American soldiers buried outside the United States. Museum completion is expected in 2008. For more information, visit www.nationalinfantryfoundation.org.

Aflac also announced it has been recognized by Fortune magazine as a most admired company to work for and as the most innovative company in the life and health insurance category. This marks the seventh consecutive year Fortune has named Aflac on its America's Most Admired Companies list.
