IN A NOD to the men and women who serve and have served the United States in the Army infantry, the Aflac Foundation gave a gift of $1 million toward the development of a National Infantry Museum and Heritage Park. To be constructed at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga., the museum will include a Soldier Memorial Garden (which Aflac will have naming rights to), a parade field, a Memorial Walk of Honor and soil from the resting places of American soldiers buried outside the United States.
