A new professional insurance trade organization has been established to help insurance and financial professionals successfully market critical illness insurance protection. The American Association for Critical Illness Insurance was founded by Jesse Slome, who founded the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance and serves as that organization's executive director.
"There is an enormous opportunity in the United States for sale of quality critical illness products," Slome said in a press release. "Our initial focus will be on creating heightened awareness among professionals and support their efforts to successfully market and sell this important protection." Slome will direct the new association.
The new association will focus on building producer awareness, and will work closely with the National Association for Critical Illness Insurance, which promotes industry policy, industry education and industry position.
