Few things generate as much discord and divergent opinions as debate over the nation's health care system and how to reform it, tweak it or simply reboot the whole thing. Public options, mandates, small businesses and even abortion emerge as just a few of the stops along the never-ending rail line of dissent.
But one small bright spot of consensus among all debate shines from the topic of wellness and disease management programs. The numbers - and success stories - are hard to dispute.
Going forward, there's little doubt these consumer-centric programs remain one of the cornerstones of any successful health care reform or cost control efforts.
