Almost half of American workers do not take full advantage of their vision benefit, according to a recent survey from Transitions Optical. Twenty-four percent don't enroll, and 30 percent of enrollees don't go for the comprehensive eye exam.
Experts say employees aren't understanding the importance of preventative eye care. Not having vision and eye problems was a commonly cited reason for not enrolling in a vision plan.
