Employers to rethink rewards

More than one-third (35 percent) of employers surveyed by Towers Watson believe that reform will have a negative impact on their ability to offer a competitive total rewards package.

"Health care reform will affect the fundamental balance of reward programs," says Mark Maselli. "This is a great opportunity for employers to examine their total rewards strategy and determine the right mix to continue to attract and retain top talent."
