Any way you look at it, small businesses have it tough in the world, and there's certainly no one in Washington making things easier for them these days. I've heard it argued by supporters on both sides of the aisle how the other side is terrible for small businesses. Rarely have I heard anyone say their own side was great, but that's another story.
It's sad, too, because in my experience small businesses seem to be the ones most willing to give back to the community and their employees, and by not supporting them we're not really paying forward that generosity.
