LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska lawmakers are proposing tax exemptions for Social Security income and military retirement benefits.
Four measures were introduced in the Legislature on Thursday during the first day of bill introductions.
Omaha Sen. Bob Krist proposed a bill that would exclude military retirement pay and Social Security benefits from state income taxes.
