President Barack Obama's acknowledgement that his promise that Americans could keep their health insurance plan turned out to be inaccurate topped this year's list of best quotes, according to a Yale University librarian.
About 600 workers went on strike since early July at nursing homes in Connecticut to protest what they say are labor concessions imposed by the company that owns the nursing homes, Parsippany, N.J.-based HealthBridge/Care One.
Like thousands of others in a region already struggling with high unemployment, Rapley now faces the prospect of trying to recover with no way to earn a living.
