Last year, women made up more than half of newly appointed HR executives, a role thats typically responsible for ensuring a company can acquire and develop the staff it needs to execute the larger business plan.
Companies are starting to reckon with how the workplace allows, or enables, inappropriate behavior. That means not only looking at structural issues but scrutinizing routine work events.
Black workers earn less than their white counterparts in a worsening trend likely caused by harder-to-measure factors such as discrimination and school-quality differences.
