Selleration is a New York-based company that specializes in training sales staff through an interactive “flight simulator for salespeople.” The simulator, called UPtick, provides a 3D-business simulator that puts sales staff into real-life sales situations and gives them feedback on their pitch. The site shows how to prepare, create compelling proposals and respond when potential customers fail to warm up to the product. The site even includes a virtual sales coach, “Vaughn McMillion,” who critiques the salesperson’s efforts and gives advice. The UPtick simulator has been used by Lee Hecht Harrison, Bronto Software and Comfort Systems.
