Mutual of Omaha dental product growing

MUTUAL OF OMAHA'S dental insurance product, DentaBenefits, offered in conjunction with United Concordia Cos., experienced triple-digit growth in 2005.

DentaBenefits' sales increased more than 175 percent from 2004 to 2005.

"We've achieved growth because as our partnership with United Concordia has evolved, we've been able to adapt the product in order to meet the needs of different markets," Mutual of Omaha Senior Vice President Ivan Gilreath says.

DentaBenefits, which offers both employerpaid and voluntary options, provides small and mid-sized employers features that were previously available only to large companies, such as flexible deductibles, coinsurance maximums, as well as multiple class structures. Members have access to one of the nation's largest dental networks, while employers have online tools.
