UnumProvident unveils Web-based monitoring service

UNUMPROVIDENT launched a new virtual claim monitoring service to help claimants manage their information and monitor their claim status.

The new Web site, available to active group disability claimants of UnumProvident and its subsidiaries, gives claimants the opportunity to provide missing and new information, change contact information and more. Changes made both by UnumProvident's internal business partners are linked by the same systems so all departments will be made aware of the changes.

Claimants may visit the site to change and update information in addition to being able to check the status of a claim they have filed. The site offers details regarding the process -from submitting a claim to cutting the check.
