United of Omaha unveils LTCI products

UNITED OF OMAHA INSURANCE CO., a $13 billion Mutual of Omaha affiliate, announced the introduction of its new LTCI products, Assured Solutions and Assured Solutions Plus. These products will be marketed through GoldenCare USA and American Independent Marketing.

Key features of the new offerings include:

  • New inflation protection options
  • Commissions paid level or heaped
  • Five-year rate guarantee built-in; extended guarantees also available
  • Ten-pay, 20-pay and pay-to-65 limited pay options
  • Cash benefit of up to 50 percent of nursing home daily benefit
  • Spouse shared benefit
  • Competitive premiums

Assured Solutions and Assured Solutions Plus are comprehensive LTCI products designed to provide the insured
maximum flexibility.

Some of the home care features and options include:

  • Up to 300 percent for professional services
  • Cash benefit
  • Double benefits for injury, prior to age 65
  • Monthly home care
  • Waiver of elimination period for home care
