Is open enrollment over yet? I wanted to take time to come up for air and reflect on this year on how incredible it has been to lead this project and involve so many wonderful women that have inspired me throughout this year.

I have been in awe to connect with women in our industry from around the country that are doing great things and aren’t afraid to toot their own horn a little.

This month I’m going to introduce you to my friends Bellaria, Regina, Christine and Denise.

"The thing I am most proud of over the last 12 months was my ability to stay focused on my goals and family as I managed through the most rapid change I have ever encountered in my 20 years in business.

"I didn’t skip a beat when it came to recruiting the right professional women to our firm, providing high touch to my advisors and still having a strong financial performance in a time of distraction and uncertainty. I managed my calendar more diligently than ever before. I dedicated time every week to my key goals, and with such a high level of stress and time restraints, I scheduled activities every weekend with my husband and son to make sure I had fun, quality time with the two most important people in my life.”

"Over the last 23 years, my career as a Financial Coach has enriched my life in so many ways, both personally and professionally.

"In the last 12 months I was honored with a nomination to serve on the Executive Committee of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). I am excited about the next five years as this appointment will give me the opportunity to connect with advisors across the globe, and to promote MDRT's mission of service to our clients by exemplary performance and the highest standards of ethics, knowledge, service and productivity."

"The high point of this year is in ‘realizing my reach.’ Whether it was through my coaching, my speaking, or my writing, my words have influenced and inspired thousands ... possibly even the tens of thousands given today's technology.

"It's humbling to know that something as simple as sharing the stories of my experiences as a financial advisor or stories of my divorces and bankruptcy, have motivated other women to live life empowered."

“This year has been a busy one for me!  I’ve been working on my Chartered Leadership Fellow designation (CLF) from the American College and I completed it in November.

"I’ve been involved in industry organizations such as WIFS and NAIFA.

"I love my job! My team has worked hard this year to educate our advisors on innovative marketing ideas, building a brand, social media plus we sharing best practices from advisors across the country.”

As we all close out the year next week I hope you all are taking some time to celebrate the holidays with those close to you. I’ll be excited to share some more amazing women with you in January.

As always, if you know of great women in the industry that are working hard to make this this industry great, do an email introduction for me at scombs@combsandco.com. I’d love to connect.
