You dont have to be an organizational psychologist or HR authority of any kind to understand why Capt. Richard Phillips was invited to speak at this year's HCI Human Capital Summit & Expo.
Its a bitter pill for a lot of employee benefits brokers, but shifting their clients workers to a health insurance exchange may be the right option now that Obamacare appears here to stay.
There are plenty of things we do to qualify as employees, e.g., washing windows, leading multinational corporations, etc., in exchange for compensation, but playing college football on a scholarship at a private college just isnt one of them.
