For several years now weve heard warnings that billions of dollars in funding cuts to Medicare Advantage plans under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will result in reduced benefits and higher premiums as well as smaller provider networks and fewer plans.
As co-owner of an agency that specializes in Medicare products, Im often asked by industry colleagues whether we have made the switch to selling Medicare Advantage products.
While theres a high level of interest every year in what the new plan designs will look like, this year is perhaps the most anticipated in recent history.
As the cost of Medigap plans continues to rise, Medicare beneficiaries are looking for ways to save on premiums without compromising access to doctors. Plan G is a great option for this.
