The demand for behavioral health has skyrocketed since the pandemic, but 32% of patients do not get the type of visit they want – and many say their clinician doesn't consider their preference, according to a RAND study.
This policy change, which was not publicly announced, aligns with the health system's merger with Advocate Aurora Health, forming the nation's fifth largest non-profit health care system.
The repeated use of small loans by participants to cover immediate expenses is draining retirement funds, however, implementing an emergency savings program is one way employers can help address this issue, says a new report.
Hospitals are marking up the prices for biologic medicines more than physician offices, particularly for "innovator biologics" that have clinically equivalent (and lower cost alternatives) on the market, says a new report.
"While we're still seeing a year-over-year decline in hiring, the rate of decline is slowing in certain regions and countries, which we can take as a sign of stabilization," says Linkedin Chief Economist, Karin Kimbrough.
33% of employers find it a challenge to remain compliant with Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) and Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA).
