As we dive into the final stretch of the year, the demands of the fourth quarter are front and center. With goals to meet, projects to wrap up, and the pressure to finish strong, it’s easy to lose sight of the achievements and growth that got us here. Yet, this season also highlights the leaders among us who navigate these pressures with purpose, dedication, and resilience.

Sherry Rais at Enthea, Katie Mathews at Emerson Rogers, and MaryCarol Evans at SolV exemplify what it means to lead with impact, each pushing boundaries in their respective fields. Whether it’s expanding access to essential mental health benefits, fostering a thriving team, or committing to personal growth, they each bring a unique strength to their organizations.

Read on to learn more about how these three women are closing the year with both accomplishments and vision, and what we can all learn from their journeys.

Sherry Rais, Enthea

“In the past year, I've been instrumental in securing over $3 million in funding for Enthea, which helped expand our innovative mental health benefits offering across the United States. Under my leadership, we've dramatically increased our reach from 500 to 153,000 covered lives, establishing a robust nationwide provider network. Our efforts have yielded remarkable clinical outcomes: patients report an 86% reduction in PTSD symptoms, a 67% decrease in anxiety, and a 65% drop in depression. Impressively, 80% of these individuals have successfully discontinued and remained off antidepressants. My personal commitment to destigmatizing ketamine-assisted therapy and making mental health care accessible reflects my broader mission to heal and empower individuals, fostering a society where mental wellness is prioritized and celebrated.”

Katie Mathews, Emerson Rogers

With nearly nine years at Emerson Rogers, I transitioned into a sales leadership role three years ago, where I have consistently driven year-over-year growth. Under my leadership, our team has expanded from two to four members, a direct result of our success and growing client demand. My most rewarding accomplishment has been fostering the development of my team members, helping them reach new milestones and advance in their careers. I am committed to empowering my team and driving continued success for our organization.

MaryCarol Evans, SolV

“As I look back on my year, I am celebrating the investments I have made in my future — to have a bigger impact both at work and at home. Earlier this year, I made the choice to hire a business coach, allowing me to grow my skills and abilities as a leader. Investing in learning and growth has had the residual effect of helping me to build genuine, trusting connections with my team and clients. Just as importantly, I’ve been creating more intentional, meaningful moments with my family. I have prioritized time and been more present in the moments and it is something I am grateful for as I look back. I’ve learned that by putting my health and wellbeing at the forefront, I can bring more to my clients, family and other relationships I hold dear.

If you know other remarkable women who are leading with purpose and making an impact in their fields, I’d love to hear about them. Drop me a note at scombs@combsandco.com so we can continue celebrating and sharing these stories of resilience and achievement. Let’s keep lifting each other up as we close out this year and head into the next.
