SALT LAKE CITY – Credit union core processor Computer Consultants Corporation (www.cccorp.com) has announced that both its Mercury and Director 4 credit union information software systems are now fully compatible with Microsoft's new Windows XP operating system. New Mercury or Mercury-On-Demand users are free to choose hardware with either Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating systems, and existing Mercury or Director 4 customers may opt to stay on Windows 2000 or upgrade to XP. Windows XP is Microsoft's long-awaited operating system upgrade that is expected to be available October 25, 2001. Windows 2000 has been the required operating system for Mercury, Mercury-On-Demand and Director 4 because of required networking capabilities. -pgentile@cutimes.com
