ARVADA, Colo. – Carroll D. Beach, president of the Colorado and Wyoming Credit Union leagues won the opportunity to conduct the Aurora Symphony Orchestra at a special Aurora Chamber of Commerce event on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002. The credit unions in Aurora, Colorado, were the primary sponsors of the event. Beach won the honor of conducting the Symphony's performance of the "Washington Post March" in an auction of Conductor Richard Niezen's baton.
