Had our own annual voluntary enrollment here at the office late last week.

And while I'm not necessarily a big fan of this particular carrier (not that anyone asked me), this enroller (who I'm sure was a broker in disguise, but more on that in a sec) did our better job of engaging our small band of would-be insureds (of course, I don't get out much).

She might have veered a little too close to Kleenex territory a bit much for my taste with her salesy anecdotes of employee tragedy and loss, but I'm tad more jaded than most. I mean, I feed parking meters on Sundays and quiz my daughter for motives with every kiss and hug.
