Employees at Guitar Center can get one step closer to rock-god dreams through the company's GAIN program.
"Guitar Center encourages all of its employees to pursue their musical dreams," said Greg Trojan, Guitar Center COO and president. "At Guitar Center, we are a family of musicians. The GAIN Program is the realization of Guitar Center's purpose: We help people make music. Helping our employees make music is a natural step in the process as well as a 'thank you' for all of their dedication."
With that in mind, GAIN offers employees several benefits that facilitate a career in music. "Gig leave," which is just what it sounds like, allows employees to take time off work to tour, record or otherwise rock their hearts out. A private social network exists where employees can post music and pictures, and interact with other employees. Employees can also take advantage of partnerships with other vendors both in and out of the music industry.
