- 53 percent of employers are in favor of an individual mandate requiring everyone to have health coverage if they can afford it, either through their employer or purchased on their own.
- 50 percent of employers are strongly opposed to a "pay or play" system requiring them to either offer health coverage or contribute to a government fund for that purpose.
- 41 percent of employers disapprove a plan to eliminate or limit tax breaks for employer coverage.
