- The number of companies planning layoffs has fallen 10 percentage points to 13 percent.
- While the number of companies planning a hiring freeze has fallen eight percentage points to 10 percent, the number of companies with a freeze already in place has increased to 18 percent.
- In February, 42 percent of companies implemented a salary freeze, up from 13 percent in December 2008.
