For the second consecutive year, John Hancock Life Insurance led the industry in long-term care insurance sales for 2008. The company earned a total of $177.8 million in new premiums to earn 23.3 percent share of the LTCI market.
Last year the company brought in over $120 million in individual insurance sales, and more than $45 million in the group insurance market.
This is the company's fourth consecutive year as the leader in new premiums.
