How’s this for a price tag? Economists at the Heritage Foundation say President Obama’s play-or-pay provision that requires businesses to offer health insurance to their workers would cost employers at least $49 billion a year. Plus, the mandate would put 5.2 million employees at risk of unemployment or underemployment. And — this coming from Fox News — another 10.2 million employees will face stunted wages and the loss of their benefits as employers try to find ways to fund the mandates.
