Lockton Cos., a provider of insurance, risk management and employee benefits solutions, expanded its Washington, DC, retirement practice with the addition of Travis E.J. Dutton.
Dutton has been named the vice president in the DC area retirement practice, and will advise companies on retirement plans, including 401(k)s and 409A executive deferred compensation plans, as well as executive benefit strategies.
Dutton brings extensive experience and success in retirement plan and investment consulting tactics for companies, including qualified, nonqualified and institutional portfolio management.
Before joining Lockton, Dutton served as regional vice president at Principal Financial Group in Bethesda, Md., where he consulted in retirement plan design, implementation and administration of deferred compensation strategies. Dutton also served as vice president at Columbia Management Group in Boston, Mass. and Fidelity Investments in Atlanta.
