|

The full study is available to purchase, but released findingsreveal that:

  • Sixty-two percent of employers hope health care reform isrepealed
  • Twenty-nine percent are strongly in favor of repeal
  • While it has been touted as a cost-saver for employers, 72percent do not believe reform will reduce their company’s healthcare cost burden
  • Sixty-three percent disagree that it will make their companymore viable in attracting and retaining employees

“However, seven in ten believe some parts of health care reformshould stay in place and 58 percent believe reform was longoverdue,” said Susan McIntyre, senior vice president of MarketingStrategies’ Healthcare Division. “This suggests that while mostemployers do not support the law as it is currently written, thereis support for some aspects of the law.”
