Bill Nash recently joined Lincoln Financial as national sales manager for the MoneyGuard Solutions sales team. Nash is an industry veteran coming to Lincoln from Merrill.
In his new role at Lincoln, Nash will be responsible for matching MoneyGuard's distribution strategy and tactical execution to Lincoln's short- and long-term objectives, as Lincoln widens MoneyGuard's footprint in the marketplace.
Nash has more than 20 years of financial services experience. Prior to joining Lincoln, Nash served in various sales leadership capacities at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America. Most recently, he was a divisional sales manager of the Client Solutions Group, a role he assumed in 2008. From 2002 to 2008 he served as a district annuity specialist and player coach, where he spearheaded the implementation of a strategy to provide income solutions.
Nash began his career in 1991 as an insurance agent for John Hancock. From 1993 to 1995 he served as a financial consultant with Dreyfus Service Corporation. From 1995 to 2000 he began working in the field as a wholesaler, regional vice president for Evergreen Investment Services, and, from 2000 to 2002 he was a wholesaler, regional vice president at ING Investment Products – Golden American Variable Annuities.
He earned a bachelor of arts degree in environmental geography from Colgate University. Nash holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation, and holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 66.
He will be based in Charlotte, NC.
