COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A panel working on competitiveness issues for South Carolina's proposed state-run health care exchange is planning to meet.
|The panel meeting Monday is part of the South Carolina Health Planning Committee that Gov. Nikki Haley established earlier this year.
|It will make policy recommendations about whether it is feasible for the state to create its own health exchange under federal health care law.
|If the panel recommends against creating a state-run exchange, it will then suggest alternate strategies in a report due on Oct. 28.
