LANSING, Mich. (AP) — The Republican-led Michigan House is reviewing legislation that could change the state's workers' compensation laws.
The House Commerce Committee canceled a hearing on the legislation that was scheduled for Tuesday. The bills could be taken up a later meeting.
Business groups want the legislation to help contain workers' compensation costs for employers. Supporters say the bill would clarify what's defined as an injury sustained while working or as a result of a job.
