Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America is sponsoring its fourth annual WOMENETWORK Symposium May 16-18 in Minneapolis. The symposium will feature the top women leaders in retirement planning and will offer presentations and panel discussions about marketing and networking, how to build a practice focused on retirement planning strategies and improving bottom-line performance.

"This event allows women financial professionals to network and share best practices to better support their clients' retirement needs," said Sherri Du Mond, senior vice president of Distribution Training for Allianz Life. "This remains a very male-dominated industry, but there continues to be great opportunities for more women to enter this business and utilize the unique relationship-building skills they have when working with clients."

Keynote speakers at the event include Sam Richter, founder and CEO of SBR Worldwide/Know More! And Steve Harvill, president, Creative Ventures, who will discuss building better practices.
