CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming's unemployment rate increased slightly in July to 5.6 percent — the second straight month the state's jobless rate has gone up.

The rate is up from June's 5.4 percent.

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services noted that the July rate is still lower than a year ago when it was 6 percent for the same month.
