The U.S. Olympic Committee has signed a deal with Liberty Mutual to become its official insurance sponsor through the 2016 Games.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal takes effect in January. Liberty Mutual will take a spot previously occupied by Allstate, which has been the insurance sponsor since 2002 but chose not to renew. The insurance sponsorship was valued at between $10 million and $15 million over a four-year period.
