CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia is getting federal funding to help workers who lost their jobs or were displaced because of Superstorm Sandy.
The $300,000 grant will fund about 35 temporary jobs on cleanup and recovery projects.
Barbour, Preston, Tucker, Upshur and Webster counties are targeted by the grant.

Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, Rep. Nick Rahall, and U.S. Senators Jay Rockefeller and Joe Manchin announced the grant from the U.S. Department of Labor on Wednesday.
