Predictive talent planning models can improve employee engagement and retention by aligning employees’ career goals with the organization’s business needs, according  to a research bulletin from Bersin by Deloitte, titled “Career Pathing: Optimizing Engagement, Learning, and Retention.”

The report specifically named PageUp People’s CareerPath as a predictive tool that employers can use to develop a talent mobility strategy. The tool offers a time estimation for achieving those career objectives, and it includes a predefined dataset of 30 million career paths. The dataset can be filtered by industry, geography and specialized areas. CareerPath also integrates existing talent management systems for realistic job families, assessing career path results and learning the management system to provide formal training.
