Securities America promoted Jim Heeney to chief operating officer and senior vice president. His responsibilities include overseeing sales supervision, operations and product due diligence. Heeney is responsible for implementing strategies, processes and systems to supervise the sales activity of Securities America's registered representatives and investment advisors. He joined Securities America in June 2007.

Paul Lofties has been promoted to senior vice president of wealth management and will become a member of the executive leadership team. The Wealth Management department was founded under his leadership and merged with the Product Distribution Department in 2009. He joined Securities America in 2003 as an advisory services consultant with Securities America Advisors.

David Vaughan Jr. has been promoted to vice president of finance and will become a member of the executive leadership team.  Vaughan assumed leadership of the Finance Department in November 2011. In 2012, he assumed leadership of the Accounting and Compensation teams. Vaughan will now become a member of the executive leadership team. Vaughan joined Securities America in 1994 and has worked progressively larger roles in accounting and finance during his career at the company.
