RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The North Carolina Farm Bureau is releasing a report on the state's agricultural work force, which looks at the availability and retention of workers during the past five years.

The Farm Bureau is releasing the results Wednesday at a news conference in front of the Legislative Building. The Farm Bureau says it worked with 18 other agricultural associations to conduct a web-based survey from December 2012 to February.

The survey collected information from farmers and agribusinesses about the availability of workers over the past five years and how they keep enough workers. More than 600 people from 95 counties responded to the survey.
