TD Ameritrade, Inc. is hosting a free investor education day on Tuesday, March 19, to discuss retirement topics such as fixed income investment, exchange-traded funds and options strategies. The event is open to the public and will begin at 11:30 a.m. EDT and conclude at 9:30 p.m. EDT, with each webinar lasting about an hour.

"There's a lot of uncertainty in the economy, and that creates caution among investors: fear of rising rates and its impact on bond prices; concerns about how to manage volatility in a portfolio; and questions about strategies to help generate income," said Tom Bradley, president of retail distribution for TD Ameritrade. "As a leading provider of investor education, it's our job to get out in front of investors and to help answer these questions. So we brought together experts from across the industry to hold a special, free education day to help investors get clarity on these issues and ultimately make more informed investment decisions."

Webinars will include topics such as: "Jump-Start Your Retirement: The Keys to Getting Started," "Key Ingredients for Successful Retirement Portfolios," and "Taking Market Volatility in Stride."
