NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks are edging lower on Wall Street in early trading, a day after the Dow Jones industrial average closed above 15,000 for the first time.

The Dow was down 22 points at 15,033 shortly after the opening bell Wednesday, a decline of 0.2 percent.

The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index was down a point at 1,624, a loss of 0.1 percent.
