TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey has received a $1 million federal grant aimed at getting more eligible children enrolled in NJ FamilyCare, a subsidized health insurance program.

The grant is one of 41 awarded Tuesday by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to help expand enrollment in the programs as part of President Obama's health insurance overhaul.

The New Jersey grant is one of five with a focus on equipping communities to help families enroll.
