The Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight has set up an online training program for agents and brokers who want to help consumers enroll in the federally run exchanges.
CCIIO posted a deck of producer training program slides on its agent and broker resources page.
Would-be federal exchange producers can use a system on the Medicare Learning Network system to take training courses, pass exams and sign exchange agreements.

Soon, CCIIO will launch a tool that will let a producer get a user ID and password for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid.
CCIIO officials are warning that the Medicare Learning Network system is not compatible with hand-held devices.
The agency is experiencing a high volume of producer training program use, and that's hurting system performance, officials say.
"Our technicians are assessing the issues and working to address this problem," officials say.
