PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — The Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training has held a recruitment event for dozens of open jobs at a customer service center of the state-run health benefits exchange.

The Florida-based company selected to operate HealthSource RI's Providence call center is hiring between 50 and 75 people initially and will eventually employ up to 100.

DLT says the full-time positions have a starting salary of $12.70 an hour and that bilingual agents will be able to make more.
