Linda Leitz has taken over as national chair of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
She was elected by NAPFA's National Board of Directors to the position on Jan. 31, 2013, and started her term on Sept. 1. She will serve until Aug. 31, 2014.
Leitz is the founder and co-owner of It's Not Just Money, Inc., a Colorado Springs, Colo.-based fee-only financial planning firm. A big proponent of the fee-only model, she believes NAPFA is perfectly situated to help brokers who would like to transition to a fee-based model and become investment advisors.
