An Obama administration official today questioned whether Republicans are reading a HealthCare.gov development project status report correctly.
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee posted the August report today on its website. In the report, Regina Potyraj, a CGI Federal worker, gave officials at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services a report on how the company was doing at working on its part of the HealthCare.gov.
Regina Potyraj provided a table that listed top risks.
Julie Battaille, a CMS spokeswoman, talked briefly about the document during a status update press conference today.
“That was not a dire warning, but a list of things we had to do,” Battaille said.
On a list of “open issues,” Potyraj noted her company did not have access to a central log collection or view and did not have access to monitoring tools.
“We have repeatedly asked CMS...but have not been granted this access,” Potyraj said.
