Some lawmakers say colleagues who back implementing the PatientProtection and Affordable Care in Illinois should trade in theircurrent health coverage for PPACA exchange plan coverage.

Elected officials should “live by the same set of rules thatthey impose upon those they claim to represent” according Rep.Darlene Senger, R-Naperville, Ill., and the four other leadsponsors.

Senger and colleagues have built that sentiment into House JointResolution 0093. The resolution is now insurance in the AssemblyInsurance Committee.
