Seemingly small workplace perks like offering food and snacks offer a big payout for employee satisfaction and engagement.

A few weeks back, our office had a breakfast meeting where burritos, fruit and yogurt were offered.

The meeting was very popular, (and I’m pretty sure it was because of the food; not because of the presence of a VIP guest), but even more popular were the leftovers that provided snacks for the next 24 hours.
