Employers wanting to add wellness programs or increasetheir effectiveness need to consider what makes those programsvaluable to employees.

And that could depend on whether workers are rewarded forparticipation, as well as how personalized programs are and whetheremployers understand what employees want those programs tooffer.

That’s according to a survey from Denver-based health care ITcompany WelltokInc. and the Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit NationalBusiness Group on Health, which found that, while mostemployees see such programs as having value, whether they actuallyparticipate might come down to whether they’re rewarded for doingso.
