Mobile banking startup Varo Money recently debuted “Money Diaries,” a series of videos that looks at the lives and financial issues of its core customers—ambitious, professional millennials. The short, documentary-style videos will explore their passions and how their relationship with money shapes their life decisions. The series will launch with short episodes about Bella Livingstone, a pastry chef who has created the life she wants to live with little help from anyone. Bella’s story debuts on Varo’s YouTube channel on January 31, 2018, and new episodes will be released twice a month.

Capital Preferences, a behavioral economics, decision science and financial technology firm, announced the launch of TrueProfile.com – and its first product, TrueProfile Risk Essentials. The product helps financial advisors see what clients do with their money using the power of gamification and behavioral economics. It can calculate an individual’s tolerance of risk, loss aversion and decision-making consistency with statistical confidence, and then rank an advisor’s range of asset allocation models using a FitScore. Managed vision care company Superior Vision Services, Inc. announced that its new Superior Vision mobile app for commercial members is now available. The Superior Vision app lets commercial members search for an in-network provider and securely access their vision benefit details and ID card on their mobile phone. The Superior Vision app is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Investment performance analytics and reporting solutions provider Investment Metrics has announced that its platform will be deployed across Mercer’s Wealth business in the U.S. Mercer will use the Investment Metrics solution to power its institutional client reporting, investment analytics and research capabilities to serve client needs. Global advisory Willis Towers Watson announced its Family and Fertility Solution that combines integrated digital tools and personalized high-touch support services from Ovia Health and Progyny. Redi2 Technologies has introduced two major enhancements to its BillFin billing solution, which will debut through its integration with Blueleaf, an automated reporting and client communication platform. With Single Sign-On (SSO), Blueleaf users can seamlessly access BillFin from the Blueleaf's advisor dashboard without the need to separately log into BillFin. The other enhancement lets Blueleaf customers automatically push any BillFin invoice into the Blueleaf client portal for client viewing, eliminating the need for manual transfers and disjointed workflow.
