Higher education institutions, like many sectors, report attracting and retaining staff is by far their greatest challenge in the post-pandemic world. Nearly all (89%) of higher ed organizations are using their employee benefits program to help attract and retain high-quality employees, according to Voya Financial Inc.’s bi-annual survey of retirement plan decision-makers in higher education.

Voya’s research included both an online survey among retirement plan decision-makers at more than 300 higher ed institutions as well as in-depth interviews among a select group of decision makers.
